The aim of the laboratory is the acquisition of knowledge and competencies with relation to some of the main tests used in psychologists’ professional practice.
The lab activities aim to provide knowledge and skills about psychometric norms, administration and scoring of some personality, intelligence and neuropsychological tests. Lab provides opportunitiy to approach psychological tests, by simulation of administration and scoring and, finally, to evaluate the application fields.
The laboratory consists of five lessons: - psychometrics properties of tests - personality tests - maximum performance tests - administration - restituion and clinical case studies
The laboratory is associated to the course of Psicometrics and e Theory of theTest.
The course has a blended approach, with synchronous and asynchronous activities (Aulaweb)
Students with learning disabilities, forms of disability or any special education need are requested to contact the professors at the beginning of the course in order to agree on the most suitable teaching and assessment methods which, with respect of the learning objectives of the course, will take into account specific personal learning modes and provide proper compensatory tools.
This course is articulated in two steps:
-in the first one, the teacher will provide the general knowledge on the instruments that will be employed, with face to face presence lessons;
- during the second phase, which will be on a distance, students will consolidate the knowledge acquired during the first phase, and they will develop problem solving skills.
