OVERVIEW

The course aims to provide a language and grammar view of the different Spanish speaking areas. 
It will develop in the second half of the year twice a week, and provides, in addition to curricular lessons, not mandatory supplementary lessons with a native speaker. 

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Acquisition of the basics of the language in order to communicate in everyday situations and understand the general meaning of written and oral messages.

Reflection on language as a historical, social and cultural phenomenon.

Introduction to phonological issues, spelling (in particular, the accentuation) and morphological of the current Spanish (and its American variants) examined on the basis of contrastive compared to 'Italian.
Development of language skills needed to write and understand simple information through translation and mediation exercises.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Grammatical topics:

 

• The alphabeth

• Articles: definite and indefinite + al, del.

• Names and adjectives. Correlation.

Estar/hay

• Possessive adjectives and pronouns.

• Verbs in the present tense: regular and irregular.

Ser/estar/tener.

• Verbs with reflexive pronouns.

• Numerals: cardinal and ordinal.

• Interrogative adjectives and pronouns.

Ir: use and prepositions.

Ir/venir – llevar/traer

• "estar + gerund", "ir a + infinitive".

Gustar, parecer, doler, pasar (algo a alguien), quedar (bien o mal algo a alguien).

• Demonstrative adjectives and pronouns.

• Simple past. Present perfect simple.

• Past progressive.

  Future I simple.

• Imperative: affirmative and negative sentences.

• The subjunctive. Expressions to formulate wishes.

• Comparative form.

 

Communicative functions:

 

• Greeting, say goodbye and introduce someone

• Spelling.

• Ask and say the address, phone number, time.

• Answer the phone and ask someone.

• Describe the house and its rooms.

• Location of objects.

• Express habitual actions and the frequency with which we do things.

• Describe a person.

• Establish comparisons.

• Express family relationships and talk about family members.

• Request a favor and answer  affirmatively and negatively. Give orders and make      suggestions. Offer help. Accept or reject help.

• Buy, order something and ask for features and price.

• Express likes and preferences. Show agreement and disagreement.

• Express physical and mental states.

• Inquire about someone's health and talk about it.

• Express symptoms and diseases. Express pain and mood.

• Talk about the weather.

EXAMS

EXAM DESCRIPTION

Written + Oral

Examination written and oral are held on the same day.

The entire exam (written + oral) is performed on the same day.

The first part of the exam (grammar + vocabulary + communication) is written and must be done in 45 minutes.

The second part of the exam is oral, in Spanish language, and will be developed based on readings from ¡ENHORABUENA!

ORAL
CONVERSATION, READING AND UNDERSTANDING OF TEXTS ON TOPICS LESSON.

To access the oral exam must have passed the written exam.
