The Course of General Pedagogy and History Pedagogy is structured in two distinct modules.
The module of General Pedagogy I (Prof. Mario Gennari) examines the issues related to the scientific foundations of General Pedagogy.
The module of History of Pedagogy, Education and School (Prof. Anna Antoniazzi) aims to provide the basic lines of the history of pedagogy, education and school from antiquity to today, with particular attention to the transformation of educational models, communication, media and narrative imagery.
The module of General Pedagogy I has as main purpose the acquisition of the fundamental knowledges related to General Pedagogy, understood as a general science of self-formation, education and cultural instruction of the human being. The module of History of Pedagogy, Education and School aims to provide specific knowledge and interpretative tools on the main theories of the history of pedagogy, education and school that have involved generations of thinkers over the centuries. Also, the module of History of Pedagogy, Education and School aims to achieve knowledge oriented to: - know the main approaches to the history of pedagogy and education; - know how to identify the educational specificities of different historical periods; - know how to recognize educational models and their transformation throughout history; - know how to identify the main contemporary educational models.
Ricevimento: Professor Mario Gennari receives Students weekly. Students can write to the Professor (at the e-mail address mario.gennari[at]unige.it), indicating their own telephone number. This in order to be able to agree on the methods of receipt.
Ricevimento: Students reception is weekly, at the Pedagogical Study (3C6 room, third floor). Reception times are available within the "Avvisi dai docenti" section of the "Dipartimento di Scienze della Formazione" website.
