The course analyses the basis and principles of neurological rehabilitation in adults based on scientific evidences and scientific guideline
The purpose of this course is to provide to the student fundamental knowledge of clinical reasoning and the ability to develop rehabilitation treatment based on: (1) symptom and signs examination, (2) functional and clinical evaluation of motor ability, activities day of leaving and quality of life; (3) short, medium and long-term objectives identification, (4) therapeutic exercise construction following guidelines and scientific evidences.
Teaching consists of theoretical lectures for a total of 20 hours (2 CFUs)

· Parkinson’s disease and Parkinsonism
· Multiple sclerosis
· Traumatic brain injuries
· Coma, persistent vegetative state, acquired cerebrovascular disease

2nd semester
Oral interview. The exam will last 20-30 minutes. It is based on 2/3 questions concerning the various topics of the program. During the exam the teacher will evaluate the student's ability to report on the topics discussed in the lessons.
Exposure clarity, connectivity, rigor, and communicative ability are valued. The teacher also evaluates the student's ability to perform critical analysis and links between the various contents discussed in the lesson. To overcome the test, it is necessary to obtain a passing grade evaluation for all the questions
