Linear algebra and analytic geometry
Basic notions of linear algebra and analytic geometry. Complex numbers. Linear systems, gaussian elimination, matrices and determinants. Vector spaces. Eigenvalues and diagonalization. Quadratic forms. Analytic geometry in 2-space and 3-space.
To provide basic knowledge of linear algebra and analytic geometry concepts, in order to give access to future advanced course which require this kind of mathematical knowledge.
Lectures will be devoted to developing the theoretic part of the course, as well as to solving problems aimed to a better understanding of the theory. There will be additional hours (tutorato) devoted to discussion of exercises suggested by the lecturer.
