The Course introduces students to this discipline by providing the theoretical rudiments but above all through the presentation of practical cases brought by a professional in the sector. In the first part of the course some equipment and computer systems in the field of Diagnostic Imaging are presented, which become raw material for the explanations and real examples that are presented in all the other lessons of the course, aimed at illustrating the technical and managerial aspects of the "job" of the clinical engineer AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course provides the basic knowledge related to clinical engineering aspects by bringing examples of management of technological assets in the health sector. The essential operational tools for the acquisition, management and maintenance of biomedical technologies will be provided AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Upon completion of the course students should: have a general knowledge of clinical engineering have an in-depth knowledge of biomedical technology management techniques PREREQUISITES Basic knowledge on biomedical instrumentation TEACHING METHODS In normal conditions: lectures.
