Course description
The aim of the course is to provide students with a in depth knowledge about port economics, ports economic structure and the main trends in ports policies from an European perspective.
The course provides a in depth knowledge of the maritime macroeconomic framework of reference and focuses on the geographical and territorial aspects of maritime transport at different scales, deepening the geography of maritime transport, the economy of port regions and the role of port cities in global networks.
Classroom lectures, case studies, seminars, work group.
