The course aims to provide the elements to understand the dynamics of the nearshore region either from and hydrodynamic point of view (waves and currents) and from a morphodynamic point of view (sediment transport, shore evolution). Hence different shore protection and/or stabilization solutions will be presented. Finally tools for a preliminary design will be provided.
