The various authors and ideological currents examined contribute to drawing a path that, in recent times, leads to the contrast between individuality and community, between modernity and nostalgia for identity, in a new form of political conflict in which equality and difference return to play the lion's share. AIMS AND CONTENT AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the ability to critically interpret the debate on the most relevant aspects of politics and to infer elements of continuity and discontinuity with current affairs. TEACHING METHODS Unless otherwise specified due to the evolution of the health situation, the course will take place in the traditional (presential) mode.
