The whole of the two forms constitutes an examination of Classic Literature of 12 credits, but each of the two modules can be supported also individually, constituting a 6-credit exam. AIMS AND CONTENT PREREQUISITES For the Latin Literature module: A solid knowledge of the Latin language is required, and the passing of a written propedeutic test of translation from Latin. Part of the evaluation will also be based on possible seminar work exposed by the students during the course. ASSESSMENT METHODS For Latin Literature: Oral exam preceded by an eventual seminar job presented orally and also delivered in writing to the teacher during the course. The basic threshold will consist of sufficient proficiency in the Latin language, sufficient knowledge of both the work of Martial, with particular regard to the Liber Spectaculorum, as well as of the other texts in the program, and the related literary and historical-cultural issues dealt with during the course.
