The course includes a reading of the most important authors of the nineteenth century, with a part organized by the students and a part with lectures.
At the end of the course the student:
1) knows the general lines of the literary history of the nineteenth century
2) is able to recognize the works of the great authors of the 19th century
3) he knows how to express himself in essential but correct French,
4) knows how to relate the works with the historical era,
5) can distinguish the characteristics of the great literary movements.
6) can define the characteristics of the great literary movements.
The student must be able, with the help of the teacher, to read texts in French, must have knowledge of the history and geography of Europe. He must be able to express himself in Italian and in basic French.
Lectures with the support of Team's and aulaweb, Flipped Class with specific bibliography
The teaching in the lectures includes an analysis of nineteenth-century poetry, with greater attention to Baudelaire and Rimbaud; while in Flipped Class the students will face the narrative
Lagarde-Michard, XIX century, Bordas editions and specific bibliography for each topic prepared in autonomy

FRENCH LITERATURE AND CULTURE II
The exam consists of an interview and self-employed work
The exam will consist of an oral test in French on the course contents through questions from the Commission. The candidate will have to choose an anthology extract of those in the program and will have twenty minutes to prepare. Following exposure of the contents of the text will be put to the candidate at least one question for each of the areas and periods treated. In examination assessment will be taken into account, as well as knowledge of the program to be performed (topics covered in class, reading and analysis of texts proposed during the lessons, the materials made available on aulaweb platform and readings of full texts), also the exhibition and accuracy skills in the use of the specific discipline language.
