Will be illustred iconographic and geographic materials and main themes for the knowledge of our society. Will be illustred bibliographical, statistical, web, cartographical and didactic sources for the research in actual geography. AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES Acquisition the knowledge of human activities and operating expertise in the field of geographical cutural geography, based on the anthropological comprensive, in a multicultural perspective. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES Attendance and active participation in the proposed training activities and individual study will enable the student to acquire adequate knowledge regarding the main tools of human geography. These skills will allow the student to develop critical skills in this regard of the main conceptual categories of geography. TEACHING METHODS The teaching consists of lectures for a total of 36 hours. The use of multimedia supports is foreseen. If it is not possible, for health reasons, to carry out the lessons in presence the same will be delivered remotely using the platforms of Ateneo TEAMS and/or AULAWEB SYLLABUS/CONTENT The main models of representation of geographic phenomena will be presented, as well as a basis for the representations of space, from the origins to the contemporary. - The main concepts related to human geography, the relationship between human geography and cultural geography, population movements, the characteristics of the world population, the territorial economic structures (sectors of economic activity), urban systems and structures will be analyzed in depth. The other appeals will be written or oral. ASSESSMENT METHODS Details on how to prepare for the exam and on the degree of depth of each topic will be given during the lessons. The written or oral verification has the task of verifying that the student has learned to use the main conceptual categories of human geography, as well as having acquired the specific scientific vocabulary.
