The course is aimed at presenting current CFD methods for fluid-machinery and industrial applications. The student will learn the basic numerical tecniques that form the backbone of commercial packages for CFD applications and will develop a critical attitude toward the use of the above technology, already widely used in industry for product design and development.
Critical analysis of numerical simulations for machinery components or systems
Application of commercial software platforms for the CFD simulation of fluid machinery or industrial components
Design optimization concepts using numerical simulations
