Course description
This course aims at offering an overview of the economic growth and development from the Modern Age to the 21st century in a comparative perspective by focusing on the strategic factors responsible for modern growth.
n this course, the long-term economic development is studied. The course traces the main transformations of the international economy starting from the industrial revolution; it focuses on some significant issues, such as population, agriculture, international commerce, manufacturing, and finance.
