AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

- Learning basic aetiologic and clinical principles about  epilepsy, cognitive disability, cerebral palsy. 

- Identify and treat psychological and behavioural problems related to Autistic, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, behavioutal disorders, during infancy and adolescence.  

- Learning general principles about integrated treatment and management, in team work.

• Anatomy and physiology of the nervous system
• Psychomotor and emotional development in infancy and adolescence
• Clinical features, aetiopathogenesis and treament, from diagnosis to integrated management in child Neuropsychiatry:

1. Epilepsy and febrile seizures
2. Cerebral Palsies
3. Movement disorders
4. Neuromuscular disorders
5. Mental retardation
6. ADHD
7. Autistic Spectrum disorders
8. Eating disorders
9. Mood and anxiety disorders
