The course will analyze all main topics of Italian family law.
The course aims to give a general overview of the most interesting topics of Italian Family law, with special regard to Social Services course students.
Module II of the Institutions of Private Law course aims to provide the basic tools for understanding the most important categories and disciplines of Italian private law. The first part of the module deals with personality rights and non-contractual liability. The second part of the module is devoted to family and succession law. The aim of the course is to convey, in addition to the general notions of the institutions covered, a sense of the complexity of legal reasoning and legal argumentation, especially taking into account the professional outlet of the degree course. The specific objective of the course, therefore, is to have students develop specific 'problem solving' skills, especially bearing in mind that the course has a distinctly professionalizing perspective. The topics covered in the course will also be explored in depth through the study of case law cases found in the teaching materials indicated by the lecturer. Attendance at lectures and individual study during the course of the course will enable: Understand the regulatory provisions relating to the main institutions of civil law and the rules applicable in relationships between private parties; Identify, interpret and apply the appropriate rules to resolve concrete hypotheses of conflicts between private parties; Read and critically examine normative texts and court orders; Express themselves in appropriate technical legal language.
Module II consists of 36 hours of lectures, divided into institutionally oriented frontal lectures and practical exercises with the active and participatory involvement of students.
