The course aims to acquire the skills in identifying and correcting visual defects and applying the methods of using perimeter techniques.
Acquire knowledge concerning the physical mechanisms of refraction and their application at the level of the eye. In particular, understand the phenomena related to the anomalies resulting from the refraction defects and the risks / benefits of the different correction systems available, tempial lenses, contact lenses and refractive surgery.
The course aims to teach the methodology of ametropic correction in each age group and hypovision. It also indicates the conventional perimetric techniques not indicated in the different pathologies.
The course includes lectures and practices for a total of 30 hours and with the use of slides
