AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the course, the student will be able to:

• Describe the characteristics of major neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders.
• Analyze the specific motor needs of patients with these conditions.
• Design and implement adapted motor activity programs.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients during and after motor interventions.
• Communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team for the management of neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders.

TEACHING METHODS

The teaching methods include:

• Lectures for the transmission of theoretical knowledge.
• Practical exercises for the application of learned concepts.
• Discussion of clinical cases for the analysis of real situations.
• Group work and project work for designing adapted motor activity programs.
• Seminars with experts in the field for specialized insights.

Students with valid certifications for Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), disabilities, or other educational needs are encouraged to contact the instructor and the disability coordinator of the School/Department at the beginning of the course. Together, they can agree on personalized teaching methods that, while respecting the objectives of the course, take into account individual learning needs and styles.
