The specific topics of pharmacology teaching are aimed at training professionals capable of studying strategies aimed at improving the therapeutic benefit of known drugs or optimizing the use of new types of drugs.
The course of pharmacology will be structured to prepare professionals able to investigate the feasibility of innovative pharmacological strategies directed to improve the beneficial activity of already known drugs or to produce a patient-oriented therapy.
To achieve this result, the course will be composed of a first part, oriented to illustrate the principles of terapeutic drug monitoring that is pivotal to therapy personalization and the classes of drugs that more than all requires TDMi A second part will follow which will introduce the most effective strategied too btain targeted innovative therapies of repositionate old drugs .
The teaching will be performed as front lessons. Any student with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
