Skin Physiology is an optional course which examines the basic elements of physiology of skin tissues, epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. Some techniques are also examined and substances commonly used for the maintenance of homeostasis, the correction of dysfunctions, and the problems related to aging of the skin tissue.
The course aims to provide knowledge regarding the physiology of the skin and techniques for the maintenance of homeostasis, correction of dysfunctions, and problems related to skin tissue aging.
