The course includes a Semiotics module, which will reconstruct the themes of the history of semiotics, social sciences and contemporary linguistic-anthropological thought that have merged into interpretative semiotics, resulting in semiotics dissenting towards the society of the commodification of goods, and a module on theories of image and art aimed at examining the current and little-known innovative cultural effervescence in the fields of art, theater, education, and instruction. It is recommended to divide the exam into one module at a time, and in any case to take the Semiotics Module first and then the Theories of Image and Art Module.
The course examines languages, theoretical principles, and expressive systems of semiotics and theater.
