It consists of two modules: - the first module is dedicated to the institutions of Italian administrative law, analyzing their historical origins, current issues, and prospects for reform. This study will be based mainly on Italian constitutional and legislative sources, accompanied by an analysis of the main trends in administrative case law. - the second module is dedicated to an in-depth study of one of the most significant sectoral disciplines, namely public contract law. This part of the course will adopt a comparative and European approach in order to analyze the supranational origins of the discipline in question and the impact that its transposition into domestic law has had on the pre-existing administrative structure. AIMS AND CONTENT PREREQUISITES A basic knowledge of the fundamental institutions of Italian public law and European Union law is required.
