OVERVIEW

The internship course of the second year of the course includes 560 of student activities at laboratories of hospitals or local health authorities affiliated with the university in specialized fields of laboratory in order to acquire skills with the purely practical activity required by the profile of the laboratory technician Biomedical. The internship is divided into specific sectors in periods that include two to five weeks of stay.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Acquire knowledge and practical skills related to molecular biology techniques, immunohaematological, immunohistochemical, chromatographic and cytofluorimetric techniques.

PREREQUISITES

Have attended and passed the training periods of the first and second year and the related exam. Having passed all the exams of the first year and all the exams of the second year except one C.I. not a prerequisite according to the teaching regulations.

Students with documented Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or with any special needs, shall reach out to the Lecturer(s) and to the dedicated SLD Representative in the Department before class begins, in order to arrange the specific teaching methods and ensure proper achievement of the learning aims and outcomes.
