AIMS AND CONTENT LEARNING OUTCOMES The course examines local touristic development policies in Liguria, by looking at sustainable experiences, visiting the territories and encountering directly at their workplace the actors of the new forms of social regulation based on the concept of governance, paying attention to the dynamics established among the main actors such as institutions, politicians, entrepreneurs, managers. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of the workshop the student will be able to Identify and analyse the territory's resources Develop a project proposal for the promotion and enhancement of the territory Evaluate the best intervention strategy in relation to critical aspects of the tourism situation TEACHING METHODS Educational activities will take place through lectures and on-site visits with the participation of public administration actors in charge of land governance. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The workshop includes the presentation and discussion of the following topics policies and governance of the territory and tourism promotion in the protected areas of the Liguria Region tools and methods of territorial governance tourism and sustainability in the case study of the Cinque Terre National Park the European chart of sustainable tourism RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY The course material will be made available via the Aulaweb platform and a specific virtual classroom on MS-Teams. LESSONS Class schedule The timetable for this course is available here: Portale EasyAcademy EXAMS EXAM DESCRIPTION The examination consists of the elaboration of a written essay on a project for the promotion and enhancement of the territory. The definition of the area of study will be agreed with the lecturer. ASSESSMENT METHODS The written project will verify the acquisition of the territorial governance methods and tools illustrated during the workshop. Students with disabilities, Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or Special Educational Needs (SEN) are reminded that, in order to request exam accommodations, they must first submit their certification to the University’s Student Inclusion Services for students with disabilities and SLDs.
