The theoretical component introduces the fundamentals of technological design, with reference to construction materials, construction systems, and the technological organisation of the building system, providing the necessary basis for subsequent application activities. The laboratory is dedicated to the application of these knowledge through the technological development of a real architectural project, with a focus on construction systems, building components, and technical details, up to the level of executive design. The progressive integration of the two components enables students to develop a coordinated understanding between knowledge and design, acquiring skills for the technological control and technical representation of the building.
