Design principles of ship propulsion plants, ship auxiliary plants and ship safety plants.

Design principles of propulsion systems for different ship types (cargo, passenger, military, offshore).

Design principles of main auxiliary systems (cooling, exhaust, fuel feed, etc).

Design principles of main safety systems (bilge, fire fighting).
