OVERVIEW

The Integrated Course on Kinesiology, Biomechanics and General Rehabilitation includes six disciplinary modules: two (Biomechanics, General Rehabilitation) at the 1st semester of the 1st year, the other four in the second semester of the 1st year.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Acquire fundamental notions about joint mechanics and the forces in place on it. Acquiring basic kinesiology major elements to understand the human motor functions and skills required for the kinesiological evaluation. Know how to analyze posture, postural steps and functional activities. Know the evolutionary psychomotor stages of the child from 0 to 3 years. Knowing the normal baby's motility and spontaneous communication of the normal child. Understand the use of technology tools in terms of posture, path and functional evaluations. Knowing how to perform the basic maneuvers of massage therapy and kinesitherapy. Know the specific expertise of the physiotherapist profession and the meaning of rehabilitation and ICF.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The aim of the course is to develop the student's knowledge of the structure and function of the human body, its systems and apparatus, with particular attention to the morpho-functional aspects of the locomotor system; To develop in the student knowledge of the morphology of the bones, muscles and joints of the human body, of their mutual relationships and their function; Biomechanics and articular kinesiology. The student must be able to use appropriately the terms that identify the reference plans and the chinesiological parameters describing the movement. Teaching also aims to develop in the student the knowledge of the human body through the techniques of anatomy inspection; The student will have to understand the chinesiological evaluation of the temporomandibular articulation and the mimic muscles of all the joints of the human body and of all the muscles that activate them (agonists, antagonists, and synergists); Know the theoretical bases and know how to implement the practical approach to massotherapy.

The student will also have to acquire an introductory basis for assessment by learning to recognize the various factors that favor and / or obstruct observation in the field of rehabilitation. The objective is also to understand the epistemological model and the hermeneutical bases of rehabilitation. Teaching, starting from the historical evolution of rehabilitation, aims to develop in the student the knowledge of the professional figure of the physiotherapist, of the general physiotherapy and rehabilitation process according to national and international guidelines, both from the point of view of the specific welfare clinics Of relationship with the person. Finally, the aim of the course is to develop in the student, using the chinesiological and muscular examination, the ability to evaluate the muscles and joints of the human body, their mutual relationships and their function. The student will need to understand the main effects of training and factors influencing it as well as aspects of posture control and being able to undergo chinesiological (joint and muscular) examination of all districts.

EXAMS

EXAM DESCRIPTION

After obtaining the badge in the Biomechanics discipline and passing the tests of the disciplines: General Rehabilitation and Information Processing Systems, the student will be able to take part in the examination in attendance for the final evaluation of the acquisition of the relevant CFUs.
The exam will take place within the appendices of the Integrated Course of Kinesiology, Biomechanics and General Rehabilitation.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Biomechanics: The online course is completed with the viewing of all video sessions and the passing of the self-assessment test, the score of which is indicative of a level of learning that the teacher will test through the presence examination. After passing all the tests Of self-evaluation of the online course you will receive a badge. You can see the list of badges by clicking on your name in the top right and then on the Dashboard. Badge release is not immediate as it happens through a timed procedure

For Disciplines:

    General Rehabilitation
    Kinesiology
    General Massotherapy and General Kinesitherapy
    Joint and muscular evaluation
    Information Processing Systems

Details on how to prepare for the exam and the degree to which each subject will be discussed will be communicated during the lessons.

The exam will focus mainly on the topics discussed during the front lessons and in any case on all those specified in the program
