OVERVIEW

The Integrated Course on Kinesiology, Biomechanics and General Rehabilitation includes six disciplinary modules: two (Biomechanics, General Rehabilitation) at the first semester of the 1st year, the other four in the first semester of the 1st year.

Frontal lessons

Simulations, theoretical-practical exercises:

Students will also have the opportunity to attend workshops and didactic spaces to implement musculoskeletal and muscular motion analysis, the main points of anatomical and muscular tests, and become themselves practitioners and subjects involved.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Palpation of bone, ligament and muscular structures.

Principles of the joint balance. Use of the goniometer.

Articular upper limb examination.

Articulation of the lower limb.

joint examination of the spine.

Muscle Examination: Key Principles of Muscle Test, Patient Position, Evaluation.

Trunk muscle test.

Upper limb muscle tissue test.

Lower limb muscle test.

Examining muscle lengths.

EXAM DESCRIPTION

The exam is oral; It will be primarily directed to assessing the appropriate knowledge of the topics covered in the module.

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Details on how to prepare for the exam and the degree to which each subject will be discussed will be communicated during the lessons.

The exam will focus mainly on the topics discussed during the front lessons and in any case on all those specified in the program
