Starting from the fundamental concepts that explain how logistics and factory operations behave, how they can be managed, and how they can be improved, the course does not deal with immutable laws or prescriptions that establish how operations should be managed, nor does it provide sterile descriptions that they just explain or classify the problems. The operational capacity to be transferred is that of carrying out diagnosis of production and service systems. This diagnosis represents the starting point for questioning and analyzing the fundamental drivers of operations performance, discovering the underlying trade-offs that operations must face and resolve, and the implications and consequences of the lines of action that could be undertake.
