OVERVIEW

The course is part of the discipline of industrial mechanical plants and in addition to providing an initial overview of modern industrial plants, it aims to fill some gaps currently present in the training process towards the concept of Industry 4.0 and Digital Factory. Today, in fact, the industrial challenge is no longer on the single machine, or on several machines, but on its integration into the overall factory system.

AIMS AND CONTENT

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The substantial challenge that the course proposes from the training point of view is both cultural and technical, because the factory requires human resources capable of understanding and dominating new approaches to sustainable production even in the face of recent developments in the field. National Resilience and Recovery Plan (PNRR).

These are engineering professionals who start and integrate the concept of mechatronics in order to prepare more versatile engineers who can understand and integrate the mechanical, electronic, IT and management parts in accordance with the new paradigms of design, production and logistics.

The new paradigm aims to reduce waste of time, capital and resources right from the conception of the finished product, with a leaner and more precise processing of bills of materials, a greater understanding of production dynamics and complete traceability in real time. throughout the production process.

A part of the course will be dedicated to simulative and interactive tools to form the knowledge bases on this methodology.
