AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of the course, students will be able to know the fundamentals of organizational design, the logic of personnel management. They will know the steps necessary to develop an organizational design and the phases and the main management tools and will be able to use them appropriately. PREREQUISITES No prerequistes are requested, excluding business fundamentals TEACHING METHODS The course is taught in Italian. Forein student are inveted to contact the instructor so to find appropriate references in order to focus the most relevant topics SYLLABUS/CONTENT The course is organized into two parts. The first is focused on Aims and methods of organizational analysis Design choice and organizational architectures Organizational culture and cultural diversity Organizational change The second on Human resources management: issues, processes and tools People in organizations: job and role Organizational knowledge and internal communication Motivation and organizational performance Leadership and teamwork RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY No textbooks referring to the sectors covered by the course are available.
