The course consists of a series of lessons on respiratory physiopathology and on the main diseases of the respiratory system that are of interest for the physiotherapist
To acquire information on oncological surgery and rehabilitation. To know the principles of rehabilitation of the main uro-gynecological and pelvic floor pathologies. To know the patient's assessment of both medical and surgical respiratory and cardiological pathology, indications and contraindications to the rehabilitative treatment and the most recent physiotherapy techniques.
Knowledge of the anatomy and functinoning principles of the respiratory system, of respiratory function measurement techniques (pulmonary function tests and blood gas analysis). Knowledge of the main respiratory diseases of physiatric interest.
The program is developed with lectures and interviews with students.

Students with certified DSA, disability or other special educational needs are encouraged to contact lecturers at the beginning of the course to agree on teaching methods that, while respecting the teaching objectives, take into account individual learning patterns and provide suitable compensatory tools

First semester, third year
Quiz. Multiple choice questions. 31 questions (roughly divided into 5 per discipline), each with 4 possible answers, of which only one is correct. "All of the above" or "none of the above" are not accepted as an answer. Those who have answered 31/31 questions correctly will be awarded honors in addition to the grade. Teachers will be invited at the beginning of each academic year to provide new questions or to rephrase questions already used, in order to obtain a different pool of questions for each year than in previous years.
Details on how to prepare for the exam and the degree of depth of each topic will be communicated during the lessons. In any case, the exam will focus on the topics covered during the lectures and on all those specified in the program.
Students with ascertained DSA from the examination. Additonal 30% time for the examination will be allowed.
When a student is a certified DSA, it is required to contact the Referring Teacher of the DISABILITY and DSA Commission for DINOGMI: Prof. N. Girtler (nicolagirtler@unige.it ) and evaluated the single case, he will send to the teachers the necessary directions both for lessons development and for modality of examination
