    OVERVIEW

    It is an integrated course that includes 5 thematic modules:

    - Neurology (systematic)

    - Neurosurgery

    - Neurorehabilitation II

    - Methodology and techniques of rehabilitation in Neurology

    - Updates on methodologies and techniques in Neurological Rehabilitation

    AIMS AND CONTENT

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

    To be able to describe, evaluate and perform tests in the typical clinical pictures of nervous system diseases, to know the applications of instrumental investigation techniques, to know the etiology, pathogenesis and clinic of the most important pathologies of the central and peripheral nervous system. To be able to assess the person with disability due to nervous system disease, and to be able to perform evaluation tests and functional recovery techniques consistent with the rehabilitation of the person with nervous lesion, with particular reference to EBP and to the needs of the person with disability, as evaluated through ICF.

    PREREQUISITES

    Knowledge of the Anatomy and Physiology of the CNS and PNS

    TEACHING METHODS

    Lessons take place in the second semester of the second year through lectures that may use power point presentations.
