    OVERVIEW

    The respiratory tract diseases are, together with those cardiovascular, the internal pathologies most frequently encountered and the incidence of some of them is constantly increasing.

    AIMS AND CONTENT

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

    The course aims at the training of experts in the field of Speech Therapy. The course education intends to provide a specific foundation for the subject matter required for the student's education. Through this training course, the student, in connection with the respiratory system, must know the basics of clinical pathology, and in particular the correlations of these with speech terapy disorders.

    TEACHING METHODS

    Frontal lectures.
    The course consists of 10 hours of training activities, lectures on the topics of the program. It is required at least 75% of the hours of frontal lectures.

    • Anatomy and Physiology of Respiratory System
    • Respiratory Diseases
    • Dignostic Procedures
    • Particular respiratory diseases in which there is involvment of Speech Terapy.

    ASSESSMENT METHODS

    The assessment takes place only through the final exam which aims to ensure the effective acquisition by the student of the expected learning outcomes.In order to pass the exam (vote of not less than 18/30) the student must demonstrate knowledge of the subjects of the program submitted during the lesson.

    The vote 30/30 cum laude, if it will be granted where the knowledge / skills of the material are excellent.
