AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The goal of teaching is::

- provide student basic notion about communication, in order to ensure a general comprehension of essential relational processes

- introduce issues related to security generally and about assistance

- make students acquire the ability to be able to adopt strategies to manage their emotions

- to develop in students the capacity for comparison and sharing necessary for interaction in group work

At the end of the teaching student will be able to:

• Know and understand effective methods of communication as a constitutive element of a therapeutic path
• Apply strategies to manage own emotionality in the face of stress factors and emergency situations
• Know and understand the concept of safety in general and in the context of health care in order to guarantee the safety of patients and operators by reducing the clinical risk

TEACHING METHODS

Lectures held by the teacher with audio-visual support of slides and films, guided exercises, group exercises with the simulation of problem solving.

Communication and conflicts: emotional experience. Aggression
Working group: elements of effective functioning, leadership, climate, organizational well-being
