"Functional evalutation in" sport. Master's degree in sciences and sport techniques. (LM-68)
The first objective of this study is to enable students to acquire a technical knowledge on functional evalutation tests in sport, in order to be able to use professionally tests during their future work of technicians.
The second objective is to develop the critical thinking and self-analysis of their work, which pushes towards a constant search for an improvement.
The third goal is the acquisition of the athlete's analytical skills in relation to the anthropometric characteristics, cultural and performance.
Classes are organized with a dual mode; in the classroom and in the gym.
During the lectures will address the key issues of the evaluation in the field of sport, by analyzing in detail the characteristics and the test value is laboratory that field. Using slides and video and research examples in the field of functional evaluation.
In lessons in the gym, students experience firsthand some engines test. To this end, they constitute working groups where students themselves act as operators and from subjects to be evaluated.
The program includes:
• In-depth analysis of coordination skills and organic muscle in different age groups

• Characteristics of the functional evalutation
• How to evalute if a test is considered reliable
• Test for the anaerobic threshold, for strength, for endurance, for the speed, for the flexibility

Each student must develop and present a test related to their sports or work experience, complete collection of data and results.
