The course of pharmacology is focused on the pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic aspects of the classes of drugs that often requires therapeutic monitoring. The main outcome of the course is stimulate in students the acquisition of critical knowledge of the variables that can hamper the outcome of any therapeutical protocol.
The course will be held in form of front lessons
The course of pharmacology will be composed by a brief introduction of principles of clinical pharmacology followed by a section specifically addressed to the features of the following classes of drugs:
Antimicrobial drugs, anticonvulsant, mood stabilizers, anti cancer drugs.
The course will focus on these ckasses because the establisshment of thei therapeutical plans requires a careful monitoring of thei plasmatic concentration.
