To offer the student the ability to appreciate the values of artistic language and the ways in which artistic products operate in capturing the observer's attention and involving him/her in the space of representation. To make the student understand how the artistic image, which transforms over time with the use of different media, maintains its effectiveness in the organisation of a virtual space, where forms and contents converge in the communicative hypothesis, where involvement is stimulated by empathic formulas, shared cultural memes, rhetorical codes, but equally by signs, iconic and aniconic, colours, gestures. Stimulating a critical awareness in comparison with the visual culture of current events.
