The course aims to narrate world history through man's activities on the sea through the centuries between the Middle Ages and the contemporary age, with a particular focus on the globalisation phenomena that began in the 16th century.
The course aims to analyze the general features and historiographical interpretations of maritime and naval history in the modern age.
See previous field. The student should have developed the necessary knowledge and skills of international maritime and naval historiography.
Basic historical knowledge of the modern and contemporary age.
The lectures will be of a seminar nature and will be held by the lecturer, Dr Leonardo Scavino. If necessary, the lessons will be held on the Microsoft Teams platform code 2go0dw9
