The course is based on lectures, to introduce methods and techniques, and experimentation. The main goal is the development of a mechatronics device that requires custom mechanics, designed and 3D printed also, custom electronics and control system programming. Final competences will be: Functional design of a mechatronics device with integration of mechanics measurements and control Programming of a complete control code for a mechatronic device including advanced systems such as RT systems and FPGA Design of testing protocols and their application to the realized device, with critical evaluation of the results. TEACHING METHODS Lectures integrated with experimental activities in the Lab carried out in small students groups under instructor guide.
