    AIMS AND CONTENT

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The aim of the course is to provide the student with a complete view on the organization of human tissues and the cells that compose them, and notions on how this organization is instrumental in ensuring the full homeostatic functionality of tissues.

    Expected learning results:
Knowledge of investigation methods in cytology and histology.
Knowledge of the terminology of the discipline.
Knowledge of the subcellular, cellular and tissue structures of the human body

    TEACHING METHODS

    Classroom teaching lessons

It is possible that the method of conducting the lessons will change due to emergency situations that prevent the performance of the lessons in attendance. In this case the lessons will be carried out through the Teams platform. (https://cedia.unige.it/sites/cedia.unige.it/files/pagine/TEAMS%20mini%20guida%20IT%20Studente.pdf)

    EXAMS

    EXAM DESCRIPTION

The oral exam is aimed at evaluating the learning of knowledge related to the topics illustrated and discussed in the classroom and the ability to integrate and contextualize this knowledge.

It is possible that emergency situations prevent the students to taking part in the examination in attendance for the final evaluation. In this case, the Teams platform will be used.

    ASSESSMENT METHODS

    1. The choice of the examination method allows to verify the acquisition of the knowledge inserted in the training objectives

    2. The oral test that is the examination methods used and that includes most of the program carried out allows to better evaluate how the student orients himself in the entire tissue scenario addressed in class, allowing also to evaluate his reasoning skills. aimed at associating structural notions with functional concepts
