To introduce the basics of a commercial software tool to perform topology optimization applied to practical cases. AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES This module is intended to give the fundamentals of design tools for additive manufacturing, in particular the structural and topology optimization. TEACHING METHODS The module is structured into theoretical and practice lectures, as well as laboratoris wath a topology optimization commercial software. SYLLABUS/CONTENT Part B.2: Topolgy Optimization Computational Tools for Design Analysis and Optimization of AM Parts (Topology Optimization, Parametric or Size Optimization).
