The exam consists of a written test and an oral test. Before taking the exam, students must register online on the specific website.
The General Chemistry and Laboratory exam is preparatory. To access the exam it is necessary to have followed the laboratory activities and delivered the related reports.
The exam consists of a written test (preliminary) and an oral test (subject to passing the written test), which include topics related to both the modules.
The written test consists of exercises similar to those dealt with during the course and descriptive questions. The oral test, reserved to students who have successfully completed the written test (≥18/30), is public. The interview aims to verify the possession of the knowledge and the level of in-depth study of the subject achieved by the student.
The final grade is calculated as the average of the written test and the oral test, taking into account also the evaluation regarding the experiences in the laboratory and the relative reports.
