The internship is a mainly applicative training activity, which can be carried out in the company or within the department as part of experimental, numerical or theoretical application activities.
Training activities aimed at improving language, computer, and relational skills useful for the realization of the master thesis, as well as orientation activities aimed at facilitating professional choices through direct knowledge of companies in the sector.
Depending on the type of activity agreed with the thesis supervisor, during the training and orientation internship the student will be able to develop and strengthen: - IT skills, through an in-depth study of the use of specific software; - soft skills, also through participation in seminars held by experts and company representatives; - knowledge of methodologies and technical skills of specific topics; - the ability to apply the acquired knowledge to the solution of real problems; - the ability to collaborate in working and research groups.
During the internship, the following teaching methods may be used:
- Debate - Teaching for cases/problems - Project teaching - Cooperative learning - Team-based learning
The internship program will be agreed with the thesis supervisor or internship contact person.
