The laboratory consists of 25 hours of individual and/or group study and has the dual objectives of consolidating students’ English skills and helping them prepare for the Lingua Inglese (base) (66937) unit.
Individual exercises online and/or classwork in order to allow students to acquire and improve basic language skills and express themselves in authentic English.
The specific aims and learning outcomes vary depending on your starting level (see below).
The laboratory will be taught in the classroom.
Assessment test during the first lesson. Students who do not reach A2 level will attend the lessons and do classwork. Those who attain A2 or better will still attend but will work individually, doing exercises consistent with their level as assessed. There will be 3 groups, each with a different timetable (2 hours a week per group); details of the timetable and group subdivision will be announced in due course on Aulaweb.
Specific measures will be available for people with special needs (SEN students, worker students who don’t attend lessons, etc.). For further information, email the teacher at justinrosenberg@libero.it
The laboratory contributes to achieving the following UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goal:
Goal 4 - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Office hours: After lessons or by appointment via aulaweb and email 53449@unige.it
