    OVERVIEW

    Starting from the study coordinated epistemic teaching in the field of science education, the course will analyze the epistemological core of the discipline, the main constructs, and the typical pedagogical design tools educator working in lifelong learning contexts.

    Deepen the epistemological bases of discipline and planning dimension,communication and evaluation of teaching and of learning in educational contexts

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

    At the end of the course students will acquire the following elements of mastery, which will be assessed through consistent methods and assessment tools:

    1. know and recognize contexts of action and teaching skills of the social-pedagogical educator in the light of current legislation;
    2. know the approaches to teaching in the framework of a complex vision of the educational action;
    3. To know the main theories of didactics 
    4. Know the training process and its constituent elements: from needs analysis to the evaluation of results.
    5. Know and master the elements of planning educational action.

    TEACHING METHODS

    The teaching activity favors the active and participatory character, through teaching methods capable of involving, motivating and interest students in the topics covered. The teacher's lesson will be varied through different strategies, and frequent use will be made of group and plenary discussions capable of stimulating reflection. Other multimedia materials will also be used to socialize collaborative and self-directed learning.

    If it is not possible, for health reasons, to carry out the lessons in presence, they will be delivered remotely using the University platforms TEAMS and/or AULAWEB

    SYLLABUS/CONTENT

    The didactic contents of the discipline will focus on the following topics:

    1. General framework of the discipline
    2. The competencies of the social-pedagogical educator in light of current legislation;
    3. Approaches to education
    4. Pedagogical theories
    5. The educational process: needs analysis, planning, educational communication and evaluation of results
    6. The educational planning in the pedagogical work of the educator

    EXAM DESCRIPTION

    The exam will be written and will focus on texts 1 and 2 and on what has been said in class (the slides will be published on aulaweb). The modalities of the exam (in presence or at a distance) will depend on the social situation of the moment.

     

    ASSESSMENT METHODS

    The successful learning of the discipline is certified by the competence demonstrated by the student to have acquired a knowledge of the subjects consistent with the expected results and in accordance with the training objectives declined according to the Dublin descriptors. This knowledge oscillates between the sufficient and excellent level expressed in thirtieths,
    and is evaluated with the following criteria:
    Knowledge and understanding: min 8 - max 12.
    Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: min 4 - 6 max
    Making judgments: min 3 - max 5.
    Communication skills: min 2 max 4.
    Ability to learn: min 1 - max 3.
