Individual study, attendance and participation in the proposed training activities will enable the student to: acquire adequate theoretical knowledge, methodological and skills related to the application of different methods and group intervention techniques in different application contexts; apply their knowledge and understanding and solving problems related to the use of methods and group techniques in various application contexts; use, both conceptually and operative mode, the knowledge gained from self-evaluation skills and expertise in different application contexts; acquire the typical discipline technical language to be able to communicate clearly and unambiguously with specialists and non-specialist interlocutors; develop appropriate learning skills to allow them to independently investigate major issues, techniques and methods of discipline especially in the workplace in which they will operate; demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form and to adapt one's communication to the context; demonstrate the ability to identify one's skills, demonstrate the ability to concentrate and critically reflect on a task, demonstrate management of complexity, autonomy in decision-making and task performance, stress management and resilience; manage their social interactions in a collaborative manner, with constructive communication in different contexts; demonstrate awareness of one's own learning strategies, being able to organise and evaluate one's own learning according to what has been learnt. TEACHING METHODS Active methods such as practical exercises, case studies, peer education, cooperative learning, world café will be proposed. Students with DSA, disability or other special educational needs are invited to contact the teacher at the beginning of the course to agree on teaching and exam methods which, in compliance with the teaching objectives, take into account the methods of individual learning and provide suitable compensatory tools. SYLLABUS/CONTENT The course will show how the group present in the different contexts of everyday life can become a professional working tool for the figure of the social worker. The group will be proposed as a relational tool that acquires specificity and meanings within the community psychology approach. To take the test it is necessary to register during the lessons. For non-attending students, the exam includes an oral assessment on the indicated books. To take the test it is necessary to register online to the portal. ASSESSMENT METHODS Through direct questions in order to investigate the knowledge of the techniques and methodologies of group and community psychology, and / or through the presentation and critical analysis of cases will be assessed learning outcomes. This formulation requires the student to be able to synthetically expose the concepts, extrapolating from their own knowledge the fundamental contents concerning the constructs object of verification (indicated in the program of the Course). The evaluation is based on criteria of relevance and completeness in relation to the investigated construct.
