At the conclusion of this training module, the student will be able to: 1) Structure an obstetrics and gynecology clinical query. 2) Identify and define obstetrics and gynecology clinical research. 3) Justify clinical obstetrics and gynecology research. 4) Demonstrate the ability to use a clinical question to seek for bibliographic sources in obstetrics and gynecology databases. 5) Manage social interactions in diverse environments with a collaborative attitude and constructive communication. 6) Demonstrate autonomy in decision-making, a collaborative mindset, administration of human and material resources, coordination, negotiation skills, and uncertainty management.
Methodological lessons, analysis of clinical questions in the context of existing evidence, and a literature review project on specific questions are scheduled for frontal lectures and group projects. The course will be divided into two sections, with the first predominantly consisting of lectures and the second comprising a literature analysis assignment. To accomplish this objective, working groups will be formed concurrently with lectures to select a literature review project to be completed by periodically applying the methodologies discussed in class. Each group will present its literature review assignment at the course's conclusion.
