AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

To deepen the knowledge and the ability to use methodologies and techniques, manual and relative rehabilitation protocols standardized assessment tools.
Acquire skills in the application of knowledge with independent judgment and communication-relational skills in different situations.
Acquire specialist professional skills in psychiatric rehabilitation.
To achieve operational autonomy within the team work, with application of the methods and techniques to acquire, and to acquire the scientific-methodological rigor in rehabilitative action.

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

To assist and contribute to increase through the laboratory activities knowledge and skills, referable to the intellectual, gestural and relational fields, defined in the specific objectives and expected learning outcomes of the Internship module III year, as well as the overall objective of the same module, which is see.

TEACHING METHODS

The laboratory is annual and includes active teaching methods and direct participation of students in individual activities, in small groups and in large group. You can use:

• specific lessons, exercises
• exercises with simulations on relational skills
• guided reading and application to case studies
• demonstrations of images, diagrams and materials, graphs
• case discussion
• discussion of cases in sub-groups with presentations in plenary sessions
• simulations and role playing
• observation of dialogues with structured grids
• self-learning

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

The following contents can be presented in the laboratory activities, with specific reference to the psychiatric therapeutic-rehabilitation field:

To project: proposition of clinical cases, mainly by students
Proposals for standardized assessment instruments
The choices of professional action: the issues emerging from professional practice
Experimentation of EBM rehabilitation techniques and / or use of related protocols
Self-training and consequent possible updating proposed to the student group

The program is flexible and will be articulated starting from the specific training needs of the student group, therefore also directly on requests made by the students themselves.

RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY

Didactic material will be provided, together with tools for structured assessment.
Students are encouraged to research scientific articles, texts or evaluation tools on their own account, so as to facilitate autonomous capacity for active research and study

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Evaluation in progress regarding participation in the practical tests of laboratory activities and the progressive acquisition of skills. Final evaluation through a test with open and closed questions concerning the contents of the laboratory practice and / or paradigmatic situations of professional practice, related to the contents themselves. In addition to understanding, the ability to apply the transversal and specific skills acquired will be ascertained
