The course is composed of two parts.
The module "Fuel cells and distributed generation systems" provides the fundamental know-how of fuel cells and distributed generation systems (different typologies, layouts, technological and environmental aspects).
The module "Hydro, wind and micro-gas turbines" provides general knowledge on energy conversion systems from renewable sources, with particular reference to the technologies and methodologies related to the conversion of energy from wind power, hydraulic and engine plants based on the technology of gas turbines.
See the parts related to the two modules.
Even if there are no prerequisite constraints, the following basic knowledge is necessary to effectively address the contents of the course: Applied Thermodynamics, Energy Systems and Turbomachinery / Machines.
